Ethox is excited to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2023 Global Health & Bioethics International Conference.

The conference will take place in Oxford and online, on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 June 2023. The deadline for submitting an abstract is 31 January 2023.

The conference will focus on the ethical issues in global health that are most in need of sustained and substantial attention from researchers, funders and policy makers. We particularly welcome submissions that include consideration of climate change, decolonisation, gender or polarisation and their relationship with ethics and global health.

Conference sessions will include workshops, topical panel discussions, oral papers and poster presentations. The conference will aim to develop lively agenda with opportunities for discussion across and between sessions.

For delegates attending in person there will also be a drinks reception and conference dinner at Keble College. Presenters who are students or early career researchers will have the option to connect with a mentor to develop their presentation or talk.

The conference is being organised by Oxford-Johns Hopkins Global Infectious Disease Ethics Collaborative (GLIDE) – partnership between the Ethox Centre and the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute for Bioethics, in association with the Global Health Bioethics Network, Epidemic Ethics and the University of Oxford Pandemic Sciences Institute.

Further details including how to submit your abstract can be found on the conference website.
