The Nuffield Department of Population Health contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. Based within NDPH, The Ethox Centre is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre and is a vibrant and intellectually exciting place to work.
As Administrative Officer, you will take the lead in providing administrative support to the Ethox Centre in relation to all education, research, and communications activities. Your duties will include assisting in the operational running of the Medical Ethics and Law syllabus; organising the Ethox seminar programme; making arrangements for visitors to the Centre; and developing the Centre’s external profile through the website, blog and social media.
To be considered for this post you will have previous administrative experience and experience of designing and developing administrative systems/procedures. You will also be a good communicator, both written and orally, have strong organisational skills and a high level of expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
