Information for potential visitors for academic collaboration
The main routes for academic visits to the Ethox Centre are through the Andrew Markus and Caroline Miles scholarships. Applications from students and academics can also be accepted for visits for collaboration with Ethox researchers or students*.
Visits are usually for a period of one month / four weeks, longer visits may be possible exceptionally. You would be based here in our offices at the Big Data Institute. We would also encourage you to give a talk at our weekly Ethox seminar series, and write a short blog for our website during your visit.
*Please note that the application process for entry to the University for students can take up to three months, therefore we recommend that when thinking about visiting Ethox, you plan your application at least 3 months ahead of when you might like to visit.
How to apply
To apply to be a visitor here at the Ethox Centre please complete and return this form, complete with:
• A copy of your CV
• Your research proposal (1 page A4)
All forms to be emailed to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications will then be reviewed quarterly by our Academic Visitor application panel at Ethox.
Due to COVID-19 we have currently suspended all academic visits. We will review the situation in April 2021 and look forward to welcoming visitors again as soon as it is safe to do so.
