Alexandra Capellini

Visiting Student

March - April 2023

Alexandra Capellini is a fourth-year medical student visiting from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She hopes to pursue a career in pediatric/young adult hematology/oncology while applying her Master’s in Clinical Research to clinical trial analyses. Her research interests at Ethox include the ethical considerations in accessing quality care for children with complex medical conditions, particularly the immediate and long-term needs of pediatric/young adult cancer patients and survivors. She is also interested in exploring concepts of autonomy and vulnerability while including pediatric populations in clinical trials.
