Eliana Bergamin

PhD Candidate, Erasmus University Rotterdam

October - December 2024

Eliana is currently pursuing a PhD within the AiPact project at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on the intersection of AI, Healthcare Policy, and Management, specifically examining the emotional impacts of introducing AI in healthcare and homecare settings.

With a background in philosophy of technology, she is developing theoretical approaches to understand how AI technologies affect emotional practices among healthcare stakeholders. She is also expanding her expertise in feminist philosophy, care ethics, and Science and Technology Studies (STS), and is particularly interested in exploring new frameworks, such as empirical philosophy, to critically engage with the overlooked role of emotions in technological innovation and experimentation.
