Medical Student, Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai

Will Gansa is a fourth-year medical student visiting from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai. He received his BA in history from Princeton University. Before matriculating to medical school, he worked in public policy at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and as a multimedia journalist for Vice and the PBS Weekend NewsHour.

He is interested in the ethics of healthcare resource allocation across single- and multi-payer health systems as well as issues surrounding informed consent in emergency situations.
