A video highlighting the importance of Patient and Public Involvement in research has launched, featuring the work of Ethox’s Gabriela Pavarini.

The video outlines the importance of involving patients and the public in health research and shares case studies from researchers who are working with diverse communities to develop and deliver their research.

Gabriela shares how her project, ‘Youth empowerment for global wellbeing: Designing and testing digital interventions’, is working with five youth researchers. The project is funded by an NDPH Intermediate Fellowship and investigates the efficacy and social implications of a co-produced digital “chat-game” that empowers adolescents for mental health action in Brazil.

The film was created by the NIHR Oxford and Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centres and can be viewed on YouTube.
