The Ethox Centre is recruiting for a researcher to work on the new Wellcome-funded project - the ANTITHESES Platform for Transformative Inclusivity in Ethics and Humanities.
In an era marked by radical value disagreements, polarisation, and informational uncertainty, ANTITHESES addresses an urgent need for research that can meaningfully navigate these complex landscapes. As a Researcher on this pioneering project, you will have the opportunity to shape the scope and focus of ANTITHESES, working at the forefront of bioethics research.
As a Researcher, you will be expected to collaborate in the preparation of literature reviews and research publications, develop ideas for generating research income, and contribute to the wider academic activities of the Nuffield Department of Population Health. You will manage your own research and administrative activities within the remit of the Antitheses project. This role provides an excellent platform for career development and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the field of bioethics.
The ideal candidate will hold or be close to completion of a relevant PhD/DPhil and possess specialist knowledge in the discipline of bioethics. You should have the ability to manage your own academic research and have previous experience of contributing to publications/presentations.
This is a full-time position (part-time considered) with a fixed term of 1 year, offering the opportunity to be part of a transformative project at a world-leading institution.
