Ethox is taking part in an online workshop exploring ethical challenges in digitalised healthcare systems and big data.

The workshop takes place on Thursday 7 October. It is being organised by Ruth Horn, Deputy Director, Ethics of Medicine, University of Augsburg and Associate Professor at the Ethox Centre.

Dr Angeliki Kerasidou, Associate Professor at Ethox and Research Fellow at the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities, will discuss trust and empathy in a digitalised healthcare system.

Dr Nina Hallowell, Professor of social and ethical aspects of genomics at Ethox and Research Fellow at the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities, will discuss issues around artificial intelligence and digitalised diagnosis.

They will be joined by Dr Philipp Kellmeyer, a neurologist at the Univerisity Center Freiburg, where he heads the Neuroethics and AI Lab at the Department of Neurosurgery.
