Daniel Juan Sivizaca Conde

Daniel Juan Sivizaca Conde is a researcher in Information Systems at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on transparency, privacy, and data governance in the context of artificial intelligence, data sharing, and emerging regulation, including the EU AI Act. He has submitted his doctoral thesis and will defend it shortly.

Alongside his doctoral research, he works at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, in paediatric oncology, where he serves as Data Privacy Coordinator for NFDI4Immuno, the National Research Data Infrastructure for Immunology. He holds an M.Sc. in Information Systems and has taken part in international research and exchange programmes, including the Global Research Academy for Sustainable Cities at the University of São Paulo and King’s College London, as well as the Innovation and Science Diplomacy School at the University of São Paulo.

During his stay at the Ethox Centre, he will further develop his work on the relationship between AI regulation, technical transparency mechanisms, and trust in data-intensive health research.
