Dr Leah Rand

Dr Leah Rand is a Research Scientist with the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law (PORTAL) at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a Lecturer in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where she teaches in the Masters of Science in Bioethics. Her research focuses on public involvement in health policy decision making at US regulatory agencies and how to economically value health care in ways that align with normative and social values. She completed her doctorate at the Ethox Centre, where she studied procedures for health technology assessment and health coverage decision making.
