Katarzyna Doniec
Dr Katarzyna Doniec is a sociologist and demographer whose research examines the cultural and institutional determinants of population health. Her work focuses on how moral values, social norms, and structural inequalities shape health, mortality, and well-being across societies.
Katarzyna holds a PhD in Sociology and an MPhil in Psychology from the University of Cambridge, and has held positions at the University of Oxford’s Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, the Max Weber Programme at the European University Institute, and the University of Cambridge. Her research has been published in leading journals including The Lancet and the International Journal of Epidemiology, and has attracted international media attention.
