DR Ryan Essex

Dr Ryan Essex is a Carolie Miles Visiting Scholar at the Ethox Centre. He is a  Research Fellow at the Institute for Lifecourse Development, University of Greenwich. Dr Essex completed his PhD at Sydney Health Ethics, University of Sydney in 2019 and his research interests include migrant health, ethical guidance and decision making. He has also developed a body of work that has charted the intersections of health and resistance, detailing the relationship between protest, strikes and other forms of resistance and health.
