Ethox has an exciting opportunity to join our team as Research Projects Co-ordinator, working with Patricia Kingori, Professor of Global Health Ethics, and overseeing externally funded research projects within the Centre.

The post holder will be responsible for the operational co-ordination of research projects, ensuring milestones and research plans are successfully implemented through management and coordination of staff, activities and collaborators. You will also be responsible for facilitating excellent communication across the activities and groups, reviewing expenditures and organising meetings.

To be considered for this post you will be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience, and have experience of administration or project management in an academic research environment or other large complex organisation. You will also have experience of setting up project management processes, be highly organised and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. 

The Ethox Centre is an internationally-recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre, and a vibrant and intellectually exciting place to work. This post is part of our adept and friendly Research Support Team. Ethox is part of Oxford Population Health which contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. 

Role details:

  • Grade & Salary: Grade 7 £36,024 – £44,263 per annum 
  • Hours: Full time (Part time considered)
  • Contract: Fixed term for 3 years
  • Location: Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7LF
  • Reporting to: Professor of Global Health Ethics
