Robert Vandersluis

Robert is a part-time DPhil student in Population Health, and his research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, algorithmic fairness, and public health outcomes. Robert also heads up the Responsible Artificial Intelligence team at GSK, which is biopharmaceutical company that uses algorithms to discover new medicines and to deliver targeted therapies to patients. Prior to starting his DPhil, Robert studied practical ethics, politics, public policy, economics, and international relations at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Michigan, and the LSE.
