Shakira Morar
Research Projects Officer
Shakira joined Ethox Centre in 2025 and coordinates a myriad of events, seminars and conferences, including the annual summer Oxford Global Health and Bioethics International Conference. She will assist with the planning, delivery and arrangement of academic activities whilst supporting Ethox staff and visitors.
Prior to joining Ethox, she was an Education Facilitator in a remote village in Fiji, completed a permaculture internship in Thailand and worked in the wildlife filmmaking industry. She has a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham and an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Warwick.
She is passionate about connecting people from across the world and furthering education and growth through collaborative projects and creativity.
